What is Family Mediation?
Family Mediation is an Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") process. It's a guided process used to resolve issues involving a family of 2 or more people usually when the parties are separating or divorcing. The goal is to reach a mutually accepted agreement on the issues at hand. This is also referred to as Separation Mediation or Divorce Mediation.
A professional mediator like myself, is an un-biased neutral third party. The mediator does not tell the parties what to do, but can help the parties reach their own agreements, while trying to improve the communication between them.
Family mediation, separation mediation and divorce mediation provides a space to reach your own solutions in a safe and comfortable setting.

- Mediation fees range average is approximately $300/hour + HST
- That makes the average cost of mediation in Ottawa approximately $2,400 + HST ( based on 8 hours).
Do you offer payment plans for Divorce Mediation?
- I offer a lower than average fee scale to allow mediation to be affordable to all.
