During the chaos and storms that sometimes plague Separation and Divorce, I will calm the waters and help you reach neutral ground. I will guide you with empathy and neutrality through the process of making decisions for your new family structure.  I have many tools either through experience or education to facilitate positive communication about the transition for you and your children. I also have experience in conflict resolution and conflict prevention. 

My experience as a Mother having gone through separation and divorce has given me first-hand experience of how difficult it is to navigate the process of mediation. 

After going through this process alone, I knew that other people must be feeling the same way as I did, and must be looking for solutions too. This led me to the process of upgrading my skills to help others navigate the process. That is how Sills Mediation was born. I offer neutral mediation, and assist you to come to a divorce or separation agreement that both parties decide is right for their new family dynamic. 

In 2024 the more clients I saw, the more I wanted to offer more than just mediation. There were many times I would have one party reach out, but the other party wouldn't agree to mediate, or during a mediation, it was clear that there was a gap not currently filled well in the professional landscape to support divorcing couples. I began to research divorce coaching. Then an amazing opportunity presented itself to me in Jan 2025. I was offered a Divorce Coaching course facilitated by the Divorce Coaching Institute of Ontario (DCIO).  I have completed their course and can now offer coaching as part of my services. 

I am also an Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Family Mediators (OAFM). I possess a post-graduate certificate in Family Mediation and an Honours BA in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul University. I am also an Honours Graduate with my Law Clerk Diploma and work within Family Law
